Trans Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
Built during the Civil War and closed in the 1990's. My great grandparents met there around 1905. They were working there. The lobotomy was developed here.

That used to be where they had church services. The local community used to hold dances there also. The local High School once held their proms here. Now for the D.R. crowd would that not be cool? Your high school prom being held at the local asylum? |
