In lake Hanoi for thousands of years, people described giant turtles that were reincarnated ancestors of their monarchy, when they were in great danger these turtles would rise to the lake carrying a sword to defend the people. In this lake people painted pictures & described meetings with these large ancient beasts. The western world and the scientific community at large laughed at this as folk-lore and superstition. Lo and behold they are real biological organisms, and it was just proven on March 24, 1998.
The turtle and can weigh upwards of 400 lbs.
