Re: Timid Shark, Most Misunderstood Animal?

someone who has studied shark behaviour and is able to stunn the sharks sort of like hypnotizing the animal into a state where it becomes relaxed and powerless until the human releases their hold.

but that's what makes this video so interesting, the shark is acting totally out of character for what we know or believe sharks to be like.

Re: Timid Shark, Most Misunderstood Animal?

Nurse sharks and lemon sharks are two species which in my experiance are curious not aggressive. Sure there have been several attacks, but none fatal.

Also this shark calming is done by overloading the sharks electrical sensors with touches, they become confused and docile.

Re: Timid Shark, Most Misunderstood Animal?

There is also a electric probe that you attach to your SCUBA tank that will repel any shark in a 20 ft radius when engaged. I learnt about it when I done in Hawaii back when I was younger
