Re: Tiger Fight at a Zoo

Doesn't look serious at all.

I think it's more out of boredom than anything else.

Nothing for them to do in their small enclosure.

Idle hands...er, paws...

Re: Tiger Fight at a Zoo

just like domestic cats.
fights can be on and off in 10 secs, and minute later sleeping side to side lol
maybe has to do with these tigers not having to hunt and kill for food but, just like domestic cats, they maintain their skills by doing fights and/or to show who's the boss in their territory.

Re: Tiger Fight at a Zoo

Tigers are gorgeous! It disgusts me that they have to be closed up and put away like that.
They look like they are bored and I'm sure they've claimed certain parts of the enclosure as their own...maybe one slightly crossed into the other cat's territory.

Re: Tiger Fight at a Zoo

i dont think they were bored and playing.... i think that was a territory dispute... but since they are confined to a small cage, maybe it's more of a dominance thing.
