Ok. Got it. There is Freedom of Speech and then there is just the Right to be an Idiot. The problem with the idiots is that when reality is pointed out to them they are the first to start the personal attacks and tell you to shut up.
Back to the koran, From the surahs I have read, (and I have read quite a bit) it is a disjointed, redundant, shallow attempt at pretending to be lofty and grandious while wallowing in bigotry, delusional murderous fantasies and manipulative pretenses of divinity. I read enough to be disgusted and I made a pretty honest effort my first couple times since I had no idea what Islam was about.

The "Christ" the catholics pretend to serve said that if any offends a small child in any way then that person would be better off having a grinding stone tied to his neck and thrown off into the sea. But just because Catholicism is riddled with corruption and every other evil in it's clergy does not mean that Islam is a worthwhile religion. At least the priests let the children live. Muslims don't even allow that much. If I was to have a religion forced on me I would far rather be a catholic than a muslim.
And how about the christian right? Which christian right? And what is thier agenda? Do you even know? Do they have a unified agenda? This "Christian Right" you speak of is what? Some new church? Do you have some videos of them beheading people? Or maybe you are talking about that preacher that wanted to burn a koran and finally decided not to?
So far you have not brought up one thing about islam that outweighs all the evil it has done and continues to inspire in it's people.

Read into the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition..... Christianity historically is no better. There are elements today, in America, that would gladly bring us back to that period in time if not for laws seperating church & state.

You either don't acknowledge the Christian right or your completely ignorant, it exists and in 2004 78% of them voted for Bush.
What do they want? For starters creationism taught in schools, prayer, no abortion and anything else that fits into their religous views. They want no seperation of church & state, and they are very politicly active & organized.

Actually your question was what current religion encourages its followers to kill. I'm pretty sure the Crusades & Inquisition equaled out everything.
