The Teardrop Monument
The Teardrop Monument – A 10-story high sculpture given to the US by a Russia and the artist, Russian sculptor Zurab Tsereteli. It is located at Bayonne Harbor as a memorial to those that died in the 9/11 terrorist attack and the 1993 World Trade Centre bombing. The tear drop aligns with the Statue of Liberty from oncoming ships. What an incredible monument! Not to mention what a beautiful gesture from Russia. The media should have been all over this story, but I guess they're too busy with the fear-mongering.

it was a big deal around here, but I live like 20 - 30 minutes from it depending on traffic. it's very cool

I was in the US until Nov 2010, I watch the news, and I have never heard of this until now.
