People want the thylacine cloned (like in Jurassic Park), but we're a LONG way from being able to do that. The thylacine's closest living relative is the Tasmanian devil. One of those has to give birth to a thylacine.  I think the priority would be saving the threatened devils!

I've always been fascinated by the Thylacine. Gonna continue to hope for a small surviving population. |
