Strange Sighting on Lake Champlain in Burlington, Vermont

Totally disagree and happen to be an expert in herpetology. One, a snapper would never reveal that much of its body especially for that long of a period and it just wouldnt happen. Only the snout would be present unless it was only in a less than a foot of water. Two, I have snapper as a pet and also a 60 pounder in my back yard pond.I am willing to bet money that is a moose

People are getting the wrong impression with the illusion of it being longer than it is . Its caused by the reflection of the sun rise. If you watch the video, the sun rise is in perfect position to reflect off the wake of the turtle. I cannot be one hundred percent sure but at least 90% sure that this just captures one of the biggest turtles in Vermont."
I tend to agree with the turtle observation.
