Richie Parker was born without arms. Since he was a child, his parents were committed to making his life as "normal" as possible. "The other kids in the neighborhood had a bike, well, Richie was going to ride a bike," said his father. As a teenager, Parker's sense independence flourished with working on, and later, driving, cars. "I don't think there are a whole lot of things in life that I can't do, just things I haven’t done yet," Parker, 30, said. The Beaufort, S.C., native is now a top chassis and body component engineer for Hendrick Motorsports, the most winning organization in NASCAR. "There's not a whole lot that's going to stand in my way."
