Yes I the forum it was posted on 6 years ago debated it being a spider from Australia, people were debating as to it being a Funnel Web Spider, though others debated it to be another Arachnid which name slips my mind now. Edit: just did some research, the other people believed it to be a huntsman spider. |

I saw a couple of spiders that big while in Saudi Arabia. They were camel spiders and they were aggressive! They loved to crawl into boots at night while you slept, what a bad way to wake up.

I've just actually put up some pix of camel spiders. they're one of those creatures that got me interested in looking up weird creatures, I remember about 6-7years ago the picture of the soldier holding 2 of the up (i posted in the camel spider thread)
