This image, taken through the window of a passenger jet, shows the space shuttle Endeavor climbing above the clouds. It’s consistent with the many other images of NASA lift-offs: the single line arcing heavenward, leaving behind only a pillar of exhaust, monument to the enormous energies needed to push 4, 640,000 lbs above the earth.

Great catch. I miss going to the launches as a kid. I did get to take my kid to a couple at least. Hoping NASA gets some kind of program off the ground again during my lifetime.
