I've never seen anything like that before. It was disgusting as hell, but also one of the prettiest things I've ever seen. When I used to draw more, probably like 90% of what I would draw were forms like that--they even moved that way in my head. Of course you must know about cordyceps fungus right? |

It's called a horse hair worm. It preys upon all types of arthropods and can infect humans as well. However symptoms in human hosts typically resemble a bad patch of dry skin. Nothing as theatrical as what comes out of shellfish and insects.
