nice collection of pix, the only one i recognised is the 2nd to last one which is soldiers in a british coastal town (i think dover) preparing to board ships and head across the channel to invade france on d-day

 That's the first depiction I've ever seen of German troops helping their wounded. Makes me wonder if the human side of these guys has been hidden from us intentionally. Great post |
