I remember Titan IV launches when I was G.I. at Vandenberg AFB. They used the same booster rockets as the Shuttle and would shake shit as far away as 30 miles. They were pretty equivalent to the Shuttle too with the main rocket motor. Titans are out of service now though, I think the Atlas V is the replacement for large payload launches.
