The Shock Doctrine
This is a short teaser for a documentary called The Shock Doctrine. This is only 7 minutes. It was produced by Naomi Klein and Alfonzo Cuaron in 2009. It looks at the parallels between the child like state that torture and psychological trauma can induce, and a Global economic model that rotates around disasters and is designed to profit from the mass traumatization of entire populations. Naomi Klein dubs this the Shock Doctrine in her book of the same name. It's very cool. I would post the full 118 minute film, but no matter how I package it it just won't fit into any of DR's 100mb per upload sized orifices. There's a lot more I'd share if it weren't for that. Anyhow, it's readily available online.

I v read the whole book, and i saw this docu. Read the book. You can limit yourself only reading the first case per item. It's ab. How the roosters on the upper branches s#/ on those below, faking a force majeur. Even non existant ones. So it is about maki'g you believe there no option but theirs. |
