Re: The Self Immolation of a Monk

There was no filming of this death. This is a re-enactment for a movie. Sorry, guys, but you can look this up. There are real photos taken at the time, yes, but NO filming.

It is an excellent job of re-enactment, however.
It's not a re-enactment, it's just a different monk performing self imolation in the style of Thich Quang Duc.

edit.
If anyone was wondering, I think the song is
"Explosions in the sky - Your Hand in Mine"
im like the biggest EITS fan and i dont think it was your hand in mine, but it doesnt sound like any EITS song ive heard it does sound very EITSish but it could some other post rock band like mogwai or godspeed you black emperor, but i could be wrong, i might go through all my EITS songs later and try prove myself wrong..beautiful song though

EDIT: ok its no EITS song ive ever heard, im now going through all my mogwai stuff

Couldn't Agree More. Even if it is a re-enactment, it still gets across the original message.

The Hillman car with the bonnet up still exists, it's up on bricks in a garage, honest.
Brave guy.
