There was a time i was playing a videogame cross legged on my floor. I was drinking a slurpy/slushy. I looked and my drink was melting in a weird way and it dawned on me that i was sitting on a heated floor......

fuck i love science.. but we can also have slushies without sugar.. heck.. even water slushies. sometimes when i put my water in the freezer.. it turns to slush.. feels weird in your mouth..

A word of caution to all slushie lovers; I worked for a large company that services the slush machines for a majority of the big chains, like 7-11, as well as many 'mom and pop' owned places.

.....although the chains are consistent with the cleaning and maintenance, it's expensive to have it done. You would choke on your slushie if you knew how many machines had to be brought into the shop because they had gone so long without being cleaned. When the back of the machine gets opened, be ready for a sight you could never wish to see. MOLD. Between all the lines and wires, from top to bottom, side to side and back to front there would be dense mold that would have to be dug out by the bucketful. It was like moss in a forest, a neon yellowish green most of the time.

I've never had a slurped since.
