Re: In Search Of... The Shark Worshippers

I had heard of and read about the shark worshipers before. But had never seen it in film, truly amazing and to me THAT IS A GOD I COULD FOLLOW why? because I can see it, "touch it" and see what the prayers and worshiping can do.
The nearest thing for me being ex military to this frankly astonishing religion and its ability to keep all villagers safe for hours at a time in shark infested waters, would be like worshiping a mortar or artillary shell or the likes and by doing so none of the bullets around me would touch me or my fellow soldiers.

It is akin to standing up in the middle of a fire fight knowing nothing will harm you. The lead flying around is part of that which you worship and therefore would not cause you harm.....

I would like to think they where still going strong but I fear that modern age man would have elbowed them out of the way leaving nothing but a shadow of the old religion left. and with it being passed by word of mouth once forgotten it will never be fully recoverable.....when the old world is allowed to die in the name of progress we often lose more than we gain....you can have roads, electricity, cars, concrete etc anywhere but this is only available right there...its not progress giving everyone the same shit, progress is gained from allowing the others to flourish and observing them.
