Does anyone remember the story about the old lady who lived with a couple of (I think they were yorkies) lap dogs, who heard an eerie and bone-chilling whistle circling her house one night? Her little dogs were barkling furiously. She ended up grabbing her late hudband's rifle and locking herself in her bedroom all night. At some point, her doggies stopped barking. When morning came, she went out to check the back porch, where she always kept her dogs. The only thing that was left was a bloody mess, everywhere. I'd love to find this story, again!

ahh thats so cool! I bought the first two books a long time ago - early teens i think! I found the artwork truly creepy and amazing great post!  |
