Re: Rock Fissure Beside Road Leads to Massive Cave
Better them than me. The story I think of when I see this is the Nutty Putty cave in Utah that was closed and sealed up by the state. John Jones’s body is still wedged inside the cave. At this point nothing but bones but the story of him crawling into a super thin crevice and getting stuck creeps me the fuck out and always will… I couldn’t think of a much worse death than his.. I’m sure there’s plenty of shittier ways to go but his story is horrific. |

Re: Rock Fissure Beside Road Leads to Massive Cave
You should read about the death of Floyd Collins. He got stuck in a cave back in the 1920's. They found him alive after about 3 days of searching, but could barely get within touching distance of him. It took him a week to die, while they tried different ways to extract him. They finally drove a mine shaft straight down to recover his body. Google it. |

I have the book about it. I still want to visit that cave someday. But NOT get stuck in it. |
