A large alligator lies restrained with white rope near its head and forelegs on churned sandy soil at a construction or pipeline site. Five or six workers in white hard hats stand behind the animal beside large pipe sections wrapped in black plastic. The camera angle places the alligator close to the lens and the nearest worker several meters farther back, creating a forced-perspective effect that makes the animal appear much larger.
