I love this era of photography :) It seems to have been a time when pictures moved away from the posed still shots and actually started catching life as it happened.. I love to see these.. it's easy to see someone close to my age and think of how young they look.. and then realize these pictures are almost 70 years old.

A quick then and now pic.   I drove by this place yesterday. It's now a travel agency offering trips to Haiti and Cape Verde. I'm sure no one who works there speaks English. Things were a lot classier back in the day. |
