No. No they do not.
They are charming and can be sweet, but also have a serious attitude. When researching owning a raccoon as a pet, you learn that you WILL get bitten during your ownership.

They are very smart, which means they will get into a lot of destructive behavior. They are nocturnal and very active. They need to be in an enclosure(not a cage) and need lots of stimulation.

That's the kind of pet they are. Naturally solitary and not domesticated(even when captive bred). Leads to grumpy outbursts.
