While now not truly completely abandoned, it was abandoned for years and years. Built in 1856 it was quite a place in it's day. It was a major stop in the underground railroad.

It's very, very slowly being restored. On certain days they open for unguided tours. A friend and I went today and had the place to ourselves.

Like so many places, it's supposed to be haunted but once again, the ghosts were away.
