Re: Pretty Darn Close to a Tornado

Pretty intense experience I'd like to try
you'd love it, i know it!!! i bet you'd be like me....everybody else going 'what are you doing? are you crazy? get in the fuckin house!' but you'd be like me; standing in the wind just experiencing.

i've been in a super, super tiny tornado (it was a small F0. to be an F0, it has to be between 40–72 mph winds, have a damage path of 10–50 metres and cause slight damage) and it was still a blast! it was only maybe 15 feet at the one point where it touched down and it torn some shingles off of houses and tipped some trees....nothing major at all. still, hell of a time! i was a kid and i was having so much fun in the wind, my parents had to drag me inside.

we also had a storm on the coast that has 70+mph sustained winds and gusts over 100mph. we lived in a trailer that time and the trailer kept lifting off the cement blocks it was on. that was amazing wind to stand in. that storm did more damage and there was some serious debris flying around when i was outside but.....there was no way in hell i was going to be inside during that. it's damn near impossible to keep me inside during a big storm. i've....been incredibly close to lightening before, many times. that's when it starts getting a bit scary but still, great times.
