Yeah, if a kid burns ants with a magnifying glass people can see it is cruel. Burning a whole colony to make art is okay though.  ETA: After finding out they're an invasive species that should/would be killed in pest control, I feel a lot better about it. Still, I know that is largely a happy coincidence. |
