Photo Through a Crypt Door
Well have`nt posted here for a while but thought these photos might interest some people :) Walking through my local graveyard in as i often do basically just checking out the old graves i decided to head over to the crypts. There are tiny holes in the doors and i whipped out the camera phone and put on the flash and stuck it up to the hole in one of the doors and took a few photos. Unfortunately the battery was low and i could only take a couple with the flash (i needed the flash because obviously the inside of the crypt is in complete darkness) so i was fuckin devastated when i checked out the photos only to see it worked and took grainy photos of the inside of the crypt - there are dozens of them and one can only imagine what photos i could have got and what the insides of the rest of the crypts look like! Needless to say next weekend i am heading back with a fully charged phone to go exploring through the little holes. What fascinates me is the fact that nobody has seen inside these crypts for hundreds of years (unless of course some other morbid bastard/s have stuck a flash up to the doors for some pics) but for some reason i doubt it Anyway the snaps with the statues i managed to get are from a crypt from the 1840`s a real snapshot in time there is something very sad but beautiful about them i think - i`m absolutely fascinated with this new found hobby of mine - i feel a very strong sense of intrusion though i have to admit! If anybody is interested il post more when im back this weekend - if not il keep them to myself! |
