You may have known this guy personally, but Paula is my cousin...I know a man died and he had family too...but that doesnt give you the right to say the things you said about her where anyone can read them...
think again.

Re: Paula Lynn Grieve Prison Address & Short Bio

This is not true. I was in the courtroom throughout the trial. Ms. Grieve was sentenced to life with no parole not just to punish her but also to protect the public from her. She is a very dangerous, violent person. The judge said that she qualified to be treated as a habitual violent felony offender. No one who watched that trial would be comfortable having her walking the street a free woman, which is why no one will ever let her free.
When a previous boyfriend broke up with her, he came home to find her hiding behind a door with a knife and she attacked him but he ran and was faster than her. Unfortunately this time she attacked with a gun rather than a knife.
Her defense did, in fact, focus on the gun and she even tried contorting her arms to show the struggle but she couldn’t dispute the fact that Mr. Flint was shot in the back of the neck from above while running down the stairs away from her. There also was no evidence of a struggle in the room or her being pushed through a window. The photographic evidence of the apartment showed that there had been no struggle. Nothing was out of place or upturned.
She did not go to Mr. Flints’ apartment at 2 in the afternoon to retrieve her small stack of clothes with a friend; she went there at 2 in the morning with a gun.
She also attempted the battered woman defense but there was no credible evidence of Mr. Flint being violent towards her or anyone else. She testified she had nowhere to go but the evidence showed that part of the time she said she was trapped she was actually living in North Carolina with another man. In fact, on the night of the murder, she left another man’s’ apartment in the middle of the night with his gun. There was no evidence of Mr. Flint stalking her or even of him caring that she was gone. To the contrary there was evidence that he had broken up with her including the neighbors testifying that they heard him say just prior to his murder “this is why I can’t be with you”.
Look at her record and arrests. The jury wasn’t even aware of her previous arrest for battery of a police officer with violence. She’s dangerous and that’s why society needs to be protected from her.
The only thing Mr. Flint did wrong was become involved with Ms. Grieve. And when he was through helping her and didn’t want to be involved with her she tragically killed him.
These people writing these things on the internet admit that they meet girls in prison by writing to them. Steve said his previous "relationship” was as a pen pal to another inmate and he now considers himself to be Ms. Grieve's fiancé. Whatever social or personal problems these people have they should not besmirch the name of a deceased victim who clearly never harmed anyone.
