Parachuting Dog
July 21, 2013 An elite Colombian military unit has taken crime fighting to new heights ― by throwing itself out of a plane with a dog strapped to one of the officers. Jany, a fearless Belgian Shepherd, jumps out of the aircraft attached to one of the officers, more than 1,000 feet in the air. The explosive detector dog makes dozens of jumps with the force. The Air Special Commands' task, aided by Jany, is to combat terrorist and criminal activity at Colombia's airports.
