I don't see whats so retarded about it. The 9/11 videos really hit home with others and myself. That mostly has to do with the fact that I and many others remember this day. It happened while I was at school when I was 13 or 14. None of the teachers told us anything. I didn't find out until I got home and turned on the news. The 9/11 videos really hit home when I see them, because I watched that whole situation unfold right before my eyes. Its the same kinna deal with JFKs assassination, Pearl Harbor, etc. On a different note, seeing someone fall like that is shocking. Sure, there was no gore shown and its wasnt that shocking, but knowing why he jumped is whats disturbing about it. It was either jump or be burned alive. Also, that is a looooong way to the ground below. I haven't seen another jumping video like this where someone is that high up in the air. Thanks for sharin OP. You can even watch it in 1080p, which is most bitchin. |

It fucks with me a bit more than others I suppose, and I should not have gotten so defensive with Shoottokill. The thing is I had a close personal friend die in the North Tower on 9/11. I understand some people are sick of it, I get that. Some still have not healed from it, and people should keep that in mind as well. Even if you don't know anyone that died personally, think about how that day changed the United States, hell the whole world in a sense. Just like Zappafan said, there are days that stand out. JFK, Pearl Harbor, 9/11. At any rate, if Iadd anymore, theywill be in the other thread so people that are sick of them wont have to see them. |

If you come across it Goregon, there is a video from a man that was just due East of the complex when United 175 hits. You can hear the shrapnel from plane and builing coming down rather close too. Post it in the "Oh shit, people jumping from the WTC" thread. |

Thanks man, so many people are fed up with 9/11, so you never know who will say what. I have especially drove people nuts with it, but it kind of a healing process I guess. I have shit to post that would blow people's minds, and probably give them nightmares as well. Every so often you get a.......I wont say smartass because they just have a differing opinion, but they say some sometimes rude shit. I am guilty of it myself at times and am no better than anyone else, so I have to include myself in that. I tell people that it is different seeing something in a video, and seeing someone really die right before your eyes. I think a lot of people grasp this concept, while others will only understand it when it happens to them. A while back I was explaining to my wife that I have some trouble sleeping because of shit I have witnessed, weither it be suicides or what have you. She said that it should not mess with me too bad, and I should let it go. That was two months before our neighbor hanged herself in a tree behind our house. People beating the walls and doors about made me jump out of my skin from a dead sleep. My sister in law was screaming at the top of her lungs that she is dying. Sure enough, I look out and the woman is hanging there with her feet about 4 feet off of the ground. So my fat ugly ass takes off in just my boxers across gravel and all to get to her. I held her up and my nephew cut the rope. The woman was purple and within a few seconds of no return. We got the rope off of her and laid her down. She gasped for breath, and ended up pulling through with no serious after effects. My wife however was different. She looked at me and said " Now I understand what you were talking about. " She still gets tore up about to this day. |

FYI, most of Bill's tapes I haven't seen until he posted them here. So far as I'm concerned, this is very revealing information, not the usual stuff I've already watched. Speak for yourself, chum, but I am thoroughly convinced these 9-1-1 threads are very informative, and they also keep us in touch with a horror that never should be forgotten. |
