Re: My Farm Here in Ohio...
Back in those days , that was the norm . Family owned farms . My mother , with 12 brothers and sisters grew up on 10 acres in South Bend , Indiana . Just a mile from the sprawling land owned by Notre Dame University .-- Her dad would drag one of them to the basement , ( I think one a day ) . Tie the person up , and beat the shit out of them with a rubber hose . I asked my mom " Well, would it be the one who goofed - off ? " ... She said ( NO ) , We never knew who would be picked . I guess thats why CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES got so much power . They can pretty much snatch your kids these days . And some of those service workers , end up getting killed . This world , so primitive . I think it is well deserving that the human extinction event has been well under way for some time now.

Re: My Farm Here in Ohio...
I have noticed that when I am somewhere, I feel like I can detect the past of the area. Some places feel like they have a happy past, and some scare the crap out of me. Has anyone else noticed this effect? I have felt this in areas that were built up, and also in areas that are barren or rural. No clue at all why I have these feelings. Maybe I'm just Abby Normal. |
