My Ass is a Door. (Flanged Bombardier Beetle)
This is a type of larvae from a Flanged Bombardier Beetle, scientific name Paussinae. Most of the larvae hunt in a very specific and similar way to that of tiger beetle larvae, except that instead of having their head block the entrance to their burrow, they use their ass as a door and some varieties actually can trap insects with it. |

I genuinely thought that people would be attracted to the title "My ass is a door" I'm just going to have to take that community college night class on advertising again. |
