Here are my favourites:

1) The scene in "The Shining" where Dick Hallorann returns to the Overlook Hotel, only to be met in the lobby by Jack Torrence and his ax.

2) A still of Kim Novak taken from Alfred Hitchcock's "Vertigo" during shooting of the montage where Scottie (James Stewart) follows Madeleine (Kim Novak).
