Pretty much every year someone sadly loses their life hitting something, they reach speeds of 180MPH or there abouts so if you fall you are going to have to be lucky to survive the crash especially in the populated sections of the race.

Thats why these guys are REAL sportsmen, and there is so much comaraderie in the paddocks you know unlike shitty football, F1 is dangerous too though.
