A tourist was on a family vacation at the Addo Elephant National Park in South Africa when he stumbled upon a baby elephant calling out in distress after getting stuck in a mud pit next to a water hole.

The entire elephant herd appears to want to help rescue the helpless baby, but finally the mother gets the right angle and pulls the young one to safety on her own.
