They display talent wrt to composition and manipulation. Urbex is one of my hobbies and I don't consider them urbex photos at all. Urbex photos should document what you saw, though they can be well composed and stylishly shot. Once you start adding models, props, and photoshop into the mix, you're basically creating a work of fiction. This guy seems to fancy himself some kind of Goth horror auteur. I'm not interested in his album cover idea of scary. I'm interested in the real world. |

I LOVE the ones where he just photographs the spaces.The ones with people in spooky costumes? Not so much.They're trying too hard,IMO,where as the others are made eerie purely through light and composition. The clown mask is from a video game called Twisted Metal.
