Monkey Creature
In 1968, two cryptozoologists, Ivan Sanderson, a writer of science, and Dr. Bernard Heuvelmans, a Belgian naturalist, they thought they had made the discovery of the century. Both of them heard about the creature, not quite human and very hairy, which has been preserved in a block of ice. The creature had been shown in carnivals and fairs throughout the Midwest U.S. West. Its exponent, Frank Hansen, had claimed he was a man "who is the Ice Age" and charged 25 cents for a look at the thing in his refrigerator, glass coffin. Sanderson and Heuvelmans has led to Hansen's farm, where the thing had been stored for the winter. In a cramped trailer they examined the creature and became convinced they had found Neanderthals, Bigfoot or something similar. After three days of study Heuvelmans believe the beast was genuine. The doctor felt even putrefaction where some of the flesh had been exposed from the melted ice. They also discovered that the thing had apparently been shot in the eye. Another report has a firm Hollywood special effects created by claiming the creation in 1967

Re: Monkey Creature
lol yeah, there's much more to the story though http://www.bigfootencounters.com/art...ranslation.htm At about the same time a Hollywood special effects firm claimed that they had made the "Iceman" in 1967. Howard Ball, who made figures for Disneyland with his son, Kenneth, had modeled the fake in rubber trying to make it look like "an artist's conception of Cro-Magnon man" with "a broken skull with one eye popped out." |
