It wasn't the case because this friend is black and had no idea about Islam. Besides, he bought the food in the guys shop and then proceeds to eat it on his way out. He was hungry and hadn't eaten all day. The muslim is a selfish arrogant bastard who is always harrassing his customers on one hand about Islam and then complaining that he has fewer and fewer customers. Can't wait until he stops selling alcohold because it offends his muslim faith. When I go to a small shop owned by Coptic Christians they are totally cool. I even stand there and snack and watch sports with the owner and discuss anything of interest. Tried that with muslims. They are just nasty bigoted people. Even went to a muslim outreach and listened to the utter garbage and lies. As much as I dislike catholicism I have not had near the problem with them. Only a few have gotten upset when the topic came to religion. One actually went to far as to agree to my critiques of the Catholic church. When it's the middle of summer and the "muslim bitches" are running around in robes and hijabs it is they who are ostracized. Few people will associate with such freaks. Even worse when they insist on wearing full burquas. There are petitions to ban the burquas based on security issues. And there is or was a lawsuit about the hijab in the workplace. If your boss tells you to not were the Hijab while working in an restaurant featuring Early American styles then just comply rather than starting a lawsuit and suing over it. I am real sure the Hijab muslim bitch got alot of friends over that at work. No. It's not me getting ostracized. It's the muslim third world freaks who bring their uncivilized hatred with them and stir up trouble. Not just here but all over the world.

I've met arrogant Catholics, Jews, Muslims, Pastafarians, yes even Christians... I'm Christian, in my life I've continually reached out to Muslims and Cathlics alike, not to asimilate just to love, and share my good news. This what I've been taught from early on in my youth I'm not perfect just forgiven. I know I will be persecuted daily I carry my cross, I'm fine with that bring it.

I think both sides are generalising the other, i am guilty of doing it as well. From my own observations i have never seen a muslim marry a non muslim, while i have seen plenty of christians marrying non christians (perfect example of this is me, my fiance is catholic while i am a godless heathen!! ).
Look at any traditional christian western country and you will see that muslims are allowed to immigrate and practice their religious beliefs, while all traditional muslim middle eastern countries target and kill christians, and don't even bother to try and immigrate to one of their countries if you are christian.
What both sides fail to aknowledge is that it is the SAME GOD, there can only be 1 creator. Even a religionless fuck like me understands this basic fact. Each religion has put its own version as the ONE TRUE LORD, not willing to accept the fact that there is no proof their version is the right one.
Something i know about religions is that it is wrong to kneel before false idols, but what do all religions have in common? They KNEEL BEFORE A SYMBOL that is not god.
One of the commandments is THOU SHALL NOT KILL, while nutjobs kill in the name of god all the time. How do they justify their behaviour? In the name of their religion, that's how. No godlike creator worthy of praise and love condones killing others.

It just doesn't happen. And before anyone goes whining about the crusades or Catholics please stop. It's a diversion and best for another thread. I agree that Christians of both Protestant persuasion and Catholics are much more tolerant of Muslims than Muslims are of any other groups. I do get a bit peeved when Muslims complain about intolerance.

I beg to differ there. Israelites were indeed led out of Egypt. You can discount the tower of fire and smoke that is recorded by Moses. But you can not so easily discount that they left Egypt. They carried with them the beginnings of the Hebrew script and left these writings in the Sinai peninsula. They endured a plague from eating birds and left a cemetary hewn from the rocks in the desert with their writings and the names of the dead and the cause. (Eating birds). The stone platform they used as a base for the gold calf is still there. It is forbidden by Saudis to touch it. They have it fenced off with warnings. The stone posts bordering the mountain where the law was given are still there. It is still called the Mountain of the Law. The split rock is still there.
