Not always- people usually take photos when the baby is born, and this baby only lived for twenty minutes. It's the only chance they have to take photos of the baby, whereas when an adult dies, there are already plenty of photos of them.

My friend's sister-in-law had a stillborn, and her profile photo was seriously her holding the baby in the hospital. I don't know if that's happy or sad...

Judging from the video I think she and her husband had high faith in God and were grateful for the life of their baby, even if it was only for 20 minutes. I give them kudos because I agree with you I would be a mess.

Re: Miscarriage Baby W/Family

Ok, I must be missing something. Im not understanding why everyone in the video is smiling so hard. The last time i checked knowing your baby is about to die is a sad event. I dont know. Thats all very strange.

Re: Miscarriage Baby W/Family

^I agree. I thought that was really strange too. I figured they were just trying to make the best of it but I don't think I'd be laughing and looking that happy.

It really bummed me out. So sad!! I think holding the baby and spending so much time with it would make it even harder to deal with it's death. I guess you'd never know until it happens to you but man, that's sad!
