Uh they had video of a lot of this and more. There was one of a guy being blindfolded and thrown off the roof of a 3 story building and an execution by hand grenade. Lots of videos of dismemberment (hand or foot removal). All pouring out of Iraq before the U.S. invasion. All proof that we did the right thing, just for the wrong reason.

Oddly enough, even though he had such a cruel regime, Saddam Hussein also had one of the more liberal countries in the Middle East. One of his cabinet members was Christian in a predominantly Muslim country. Why did they all get along? Because Saddam said so dammit, that's also why there weren't any problems between Muslims and Christians in Russia before the fall of Communism. Either they got along or they mined salt in a gulag or worse. Sucks that given freedom people act like complete animals.
