Re: Metal: A Headbangers Journey

it's a good one for sure.....

he was also responsible for the Metal Evolution series that aired on VH1 plus the extreme metal episode that they refused to fund....

he has a channel on youtube called bangertv where he does some cool stuff too including wednesday night live streams called lock horns where we all (the live chat is loads of fun) lock horns about various topics relating to metal...best albums, genres and sub genres, that kind of thing

Re: Metal: A Headbangers Journey

I think I have seen this before, if I remember correctly Black Sabbath are credited with inventing the term "Heavy Metal" due to the industry of Birmingham, England. Could be wrong though.

Its all debatable. But they talk about that in like the first 20 min of that documentary. A lot of people have different opinions. Alice Cooper says he was the first to be officially "called" Heavy Metal.

In it Dio said Gene Simmons claimed to invent breathing and shoes. BUT Cooper seems to be full of him self too.
