Medieval Torture Methods
I looked and didn't see any of these posted before, but if they have-my apologies! Feel free to move if this is not in the right category. Attached are a bunch of photos depicting various methods of torture used throughout the ages. Sorry for some of the cheesy pictures, but being that most of these were used eons ago; its kinda hard to find any real pictures of them in use... 1. Judas Cradle 2. Pear of Anguish- A pear-shaped instrument was inserted into one of the victim's orifices: the vagina for women, the anus for homosexuals and the mouth for liars and blasphemers. The instrument consisted of four leaves that slowly separated from each other as the torturer turned the screw at the top. It was the torturer's decision to simply tear the skin or expand the "pear" to its maximum and mutilate the victim. 3. Rat Cage- Pretty self explanatory. Cage with rats placed on a persons abdomen. Cage heated up. Rats go bat shit crazy and dig right through you. 4. Lead Sprinkler 5. Heretics fork- consists of two forks set against each other that penetrated the flesh under the chin in one end and the upper chest in the other. As usual, this instrument didn't harm any vital points; thus avoiding death and prolonging pain. 6. Garrote- many adaptations throughout the years. From a simple wire to an elaborate crank machine... 7. Execution by elephant- pretty self explanatory 8. Confession Chair |

Re: Medieval Torture Methods
Im not sure how quick it would really be. From some of the reading I did, they trained the elephant to put slow pressure on the poor fuckers head.
