Re: The May 2010 Tennessee Floods. (46 Photos)
i live in franklin, TN, just south of nashville, and we got hit pretty bad...if you guys have seen the video of the guy wakeboarding behind a nissan SUV and getting arrested...that happened like 2 blocks away from my house. my in-laws house suffered $50,000 worth of damage. been helping them gut the bottom floor for the past week and a half. i am very fortunate because i live in an elevated part of the city, but for the first 24 hours, there was only one way in, and one way out of the city...it was super claustrophobic. very sad...

oh, people acted like it was...but the joke was on them. MOST of that flood water was contaminated with raw sewage and the water in some parts was live (electrified). i live in an area that got pretty fucked up (franklin, tn), but thankfully, my shit didnt flood. i saw people swimming, boating, wakeboarding, and skimboarding in that shit...gross. dumbasses...

Re: The May 2010 Tennessee Floods. (46 Photos)
We're all so busy sending money to Haiti that we just forget about everyone back home. Nashville is the HEART of country music and so many historical places were damaged. Not to mention the thousands and thousands of people to have lost EVERYTHING!!! You would think this would receive more media coverage and FEMA/Red Cross help...its a shame that we as a country will send BILLIONS to help another country and just leave our own to rot in wreckage.
