when it floods here we get deaths from people playing in flood waters an inexperienced 4x4 drivers who think their car can do anything... eg, soccer moms in range rovers who have only ever drievn in a city

with all of the other news, the people up in the middle of the country suffering floods have been all but forgotten. Memorabilli Removed from Grand ole opry before flooNASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Officials say precious memorabilia was moved from the iconic Grand Ole Opry House before flood waters swept through. Country music stars have performed at the Opry House for decades. Opry president Steve Buchanan said Friday that several important pieces were moved, though he did not give specifics. Music lovers had worried classic costumes and set designs may have been destroyed by the floods that tore through Tennessee. Buchanan says companies have been hired to try and restore what was damaged. About 2 feet of water covered the Opry house's stage, which will have to be replaced. Meanwhile, the Gaylord Opryland Resort, the hotel next to the Opry house, won't be taking bookings from now through October after it was flooded under as much as 10 feet of water. d. |

lol, yesss he can!! haha. but yeah, i had no idea about these floods. i have no news source these days. anyways, damn, that sucks. the pic with that woman and her pictures broke my heart. that would suck. |

Thanks for the pics!! I live in Middle Tennessee and it was horrible that day! Nashville got it pretty severely, luckily my county wasn't hit as bad(but we did have a tornado the day before). Where I live they actually closed the water plant for about 3 days so everyone had to conserve water. I also to believe that the death toll got up to 11. |
