Goddamn this is so sad. Also, I am a horrible person - I don't think I could resist fucking with him (clearly his wife does in the video for the sake of illustrating how severe his condition really is). I appreciate that she cares so deeply for him and is willing to take care OF him. Not everyone is capable of doing so for another.

I'm a historian, with a photographic memory that can't stop thinking of the past for even 10 seconds at best. I just don't even know how to picture how his perception of life must be, this must be hell, although, i often wish that the blessing/curse of a photographic memory was never granted to me.
