Cargo containers!
Simple, cheap and available in masses!


Most containers are produced in China* today. The price for such a
cargo container varies due to the volatile steel prices and the
dollar rates, its about 1.950 to 2.300 dollars (new).



*Keep in mind that most of the steal of the twintowers was
shipped to China, for a very cheap price...

A ready-made 6 meter long container-office with windows, doors,
electricity and heating is available for about 4.800 Euros.
For a floor space of approximately 100 square meters you need
four of the large containers. Now you can figure out how cheap
that luxus house will be...

Well, probably it will be difficult to beat a nail into the metal walls
in order to hang up a picture frame, but at least a house mustn't be
made of bricks at all! I am really interested about how the
acoustic will be inside these countainers houses....
