I am actually against the death penalty in its current form and usage in the States today. Without getting into it too much I feel it is not used for justice as more a form of class discrimination. I can't remember the last millionaire to be executed. However, I must agree that if one of these girls deserves it, then they all do. |

There's a great book about this case. Shanda Sharer was a good girl, who fell into the wrong crowd and trusted the wrong people. IMO. Let's not forget the victim, 12 year old Shanda.

I remeber when this happened, The trial was very sad all in its own. I agree that for Tackett and Loveless they should have gotten should have been sentenced to death, and from what I remember even from the amount of involvement that Rippey (sad thing is I went to church with this girl) and Lawrence they should have been sentenced to at least life.
