Large Ground Explosion on Coastal Strip Sends Debris Into Air

A large ground explosion spreads into a low, wide fireball across a flat paved or sandy coastal strip. Dark smoke and debris rise above the blast as light-colored fin- or panel-like fragments are thrown into the air. Calm water and a surf line are visible behind the explosion, with scrub and grass in the foreground.
