Re: Krokodil Addicts: 1 Year Life Expectancy
krokodil isnt exactly a new drug, its been around since the 30's, reason why its so popular in russia is because the main ingredient, codeine, is as easy to get as advil, Im a recovering opiate addict, i started with oxy and moved up to heroin because it was cheaper, same thing is happening with these people is that this drug will do the same thing short term, at a huge fraction of a price

Re: Krokodil Addicts: 1 Year Life Expectancy
This kind of thing doesnt go away with the death of the addicted person . Another person just takes their place . We can judge it - I do - I think its insanely dumb but addiction is cunning , baffling and more powerful than the human will . Denial is a hardcore muthafuckin evil genius . Addiction is the only disease that constantly tells you - you dont have it . |

Re: Krokodil Addicts: 1 Year Life Expectancy
I can not imagine why anyone would get involved in doing any type of drug that would destroy you in such a short period of time (or any drug period). I understand that it's highly addicting, but why put yourself through the torture of having to find your fix. One would think common sense would kick in before wanting to try the drug. Bleh. |
