They had those on the Animal Planet's Most Extreme today.... They can survive being frozen in temps as low as (I think) 14 degrees.... Are they REALLY THAT fucking big?????? Fucking hell...  |

only one type, the giant weta.the rest are about the size of your standard cockroach.sad thing about wetas is they make good pets for kids due to their lifespan which has hastened their downfall somewhat.them and humans don't really mix that well

ive had them on me and they feel like tiny kittens the way they explore their new surroundings and such creepy at first but they are harmless.never had the pleasure of playing with a giant sad to say |

I used to play with bugs when I was little. I still like to photo them and poke at them with sticks. But I cannot abide them touching me. Tiny kittens?...You mean they are fuzzy? Is the WETA have any meaning in Peter Jacksons WETA workshop? (Also in NZ..) |
